Wales Rally GB Launches Hospitality

From the northern coastline of Conwy to the forests of mid-Wales and the city of Cardiff in the south, stunning locations throughout Wales will provide a breathtaking backdrop to this year’s Wales Rally GB, which takes place from 10th to 13th November 2011. A selection of hospitality options have been launched across each day of the 13th and final round of the FIA World Rally Championship event in partnership with MatchPoint – recently nominated for a national award for their hospitality partnership with the Rally of Scotland.

The rally commences on Thursday 10th November, with two runs round the legendary Great Orme Toll Road. The hospitality for the Great Orme will take place in a luxury marquee perched on the edge of the peninsula. The cars will pass within inches and the views will be stunning. In the evening, following the opening ceremony outside Conwy Castle, guests will be able to mix with personalities of the motoring world and the local community at the gala dinner in Llandudno, next to Park Ferme on the seafront.

Friday 11th November sees the rally go deep into the forests of mid-Wales. A full day’s hospitality is on offer, allowing guests to relax in comfort and style and be shuttled to the exhilarating Dyfnant stages. On Saturday 12th November, the rally reaches the iconic Sweet Lamb Stages. With hairpin bends and a water jump in stunning scenery, there can be no better place to watch sporting action. The hospitality facility offers a fantastic environment to see the action, just metres from the rally route.

For those looking for something very special, hospitality is available at Cardiff Castle on Saturday night. This gala dinner will welcome the event to the capital and will give guests the opportunity to get up close and personal with the cars, while enjoying a sumptuous dinner in iconic surroundings. Finally, hospitality is offered on Sunday 13th November at the beautiful Brecon Castle Hotel, with shuttles transporting guests to the crucial Halfway stages.
